About me
I am Eric Lam, a first-year Ph.D. student at the Speech Processing and Machine Learning Lab at National Taiwan University, under the mentorship of Professor Hung-yi Lee. My research focuses on multi-modality large language models for speech and audio, reinforcement learning, and spoken language understanding. I have published several papers as the first or co-first author at top-tier conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, ICASSP, and PAKDD. For more details, please take a look my Google Scholar.
During the summer of 2023, I collaborated with Microsoft Research in Redmond, USA. I have also been honored to receive funding through a Meta Audiobox Grant, further supporting my research endeavors. As an avid open-source contributor, I am proud to have accumulated over 2000 stars on GitHub, demonstrating my commitment to advancing the field of machine learning and contributing to the community.
